Vittel is a small, picturesque town located in the Vosges region. It also is where the Vittel mineral water basin is located. Vittel was honored with a stage finish, in 1990, that Jelle Nidham won and the following day held a time trial that Raul Alcala won with an average speed of 47.9km/hr. With Vittel as one of the major sponsors of the Tour it should be no surprise why the Tour is making another stop at this important city.
