Reflections from Week 7.....
My Good – Purdue may have been the best 1-4 team in the country. Danny Hope kept his team practicing hard and never quit. The first-year coach nearly pulled off an upset against Oregon earlier in the year, but was able to finish the job against Ohio State.
My Bad – Top 10 teams this week did not fare that well. Texas looked punch-less, Florida overlooked an SEC West opponent again and of course OSU and Va Tech got picked off. This hasn’t been a season filled with many surprises, so will this be the beginning?
My Ugly – Nebraska, Missouri and Kansas, the three favorites in the Big 12 North, were all knocked off. Now a case could be made that Kansas was the only team that had an ugly loss, but the Big 12 North as a whole gets this distinction.
