Round 1: Both fighters come out throwing jabs into the air to guage there distance. When a southpaw and orthodox fighter meet it's never easy to push in and deliver punches. Both guys are throwing jabs to the head and body, but not much landing. The guys come in and exchange a couple little flurries near the end of the round and Hino is comes out the better of the two. Hino lands two long right hands that push Troy back near the end of the right and might be just enough to steal the round, 10-9 Hino.
Round 2: Both fighters engines are now warm and it's time to start letting the other know who wants it more. Hino starts well, landing some big bombs on Troy who takes them well and comes back with some dangerous punches of his own. Now we got two blokes letting go with everything they have, each shot trying to put the other to sleep. It's a sea sawing battle with no one willing to give an inch. It is great to see two big blokes with high energy fight with great technique. Another tough round to score but slightly edge it in the favor of Hino 10-9.
Round 3: Both fighters come out again letting go with everything they have but they might be a bit too keen to land instead of relaxing a little trying to pick there shots a little better. Troy is now the bully pushing Hino into the ropes and trying to work from the inside breaking him down. It's a little sloppy with both guys letting go, but neither finding there mark. With so much at stake it's hard to think about the fight when all you want is the win and the belt. With 30 seconds in the round to go Troy does well landing single shots and starting to snap Hino's head back. Not the best round but will give this one to Troy 10-9.
Round 4: Troy starts this round just as intense as the last 2. He puts the pressure on straight away and in doing so finds a nice straight left that gets Hino's attention. Hino tries to hold on, but Troy now feels Hino is in trouble and puts it back another gear again unloading with huge hooks off both hands with both connecting. Hino backs into a corner turning his back unable to protect himself. The referee steps in to stop the onslaught by Troy and because there is a no standing 8 count means the fight is called off with Troy Ross winning by TKO.
From the first fight Troy established himself as one of the most dangerous fighters in the house, he went into the final as the favorite and didn't disappoint. Its been a great journey watching Troy go on to be the Contender Champion and I hope him many world title battles in the near future.
